So, if anyone didn't see the Super Bowl, especially the second half you missed out on an exciting game.

Twas a hell of a game for sure. I was pulling for NY but with no real hope that would happen. After that first drive though I though well just maybe. When they were still in it at the beginning of the 4th quarter is when I knew there really was a chance.
I thought it was pretty crappy of Belichek to leave the field before the game was officially over at the end though. I understand he was upset and disappointed but come on, show a little class.

Dude, if you went 18-0 and then lost the superbowl would you stick around? I wouldn't. I'd be 'roid raging the shit out Glendale. For days. God, Seau must be sooooo pissed.
This Pats team had the opportunity to go down as the greatest team in NFL history. Maybe even sports history. And they choke in the game that mattered most... now they're just a footnote in a sports almanac and will be the butt of jokes for years to come.
Yeah, that loss is beyond "showing class." Glad I'm not a Pats fan. They must be foaming at the mouth right now.

Choke? Or maybe they were outplayed by the Giants. The Giants did a a good job on them in the last game of the regular season too, where both teams played like it was the superbowl. What's the shame in loosing in a hard fought game?
And yes, I am a Giants fan, though mostly from the time Belichek was their defensive coordinator. The Giant's D played a lot like those squads Parcells and Belichek used to turn out on a regular basis. I'm sure Belichek noticed too :)

My sympathy's go out to Jr. for sure, now that guy has some class. A lot of other players on that team too. They are a bunch of talented guys who had an off day combined with a great showing by NY. That's the NFL though, nobody said a perfect season was anything even remotely close to easy.
As for Belicheck, imo it goes to professionalism. They get paid the big bucks for a reason, and win or lose it's his JOB to to be the leader of that team and not let his personal feelings get in the way of good sportsmanship. Oh yeah, I forgot, he's nothing more than a cheater that got caught. He got what he deserves as far as I'm concerned.
