Here's the new question of the week.

Hiya!
While several members of our team are heading back from GDC, we're going to take a moment to talk about two very brief interface questions, as we mentioned last week we were going to do.
This week we'd like to take a look at the interface, sparked by a question from our QOTW thread:
Will there be an in-game knowledge base? A way we can look up/unlock lore/location or creature details without the requirement to alt+tab out?
The Knowledge Base was one feature we have been considering for inclusion in Earthrise a long time with Lore, Creatures and Places in a unified encyclopedia design, but as priorities shape up for release and development time is limited, unfortunately the Knowledge Base will be something that has to wait for after launch. It is however, on the list of things we'll be addressing afterwards!
Since this question went along with what you can see in the interface, we thought we'd also add this question:
Will a player be able to hide their helmet/other parts of their armor?
Players will be able to turn off their Helmet to reveal their face even if their helmet's protective features remain on. We do not expect players to use that too often given how outrageously cool helmets we have made for all our armor suits in the game, but the option is there! This is clearly an aesthetic decision and is extended to helmets/headgear only as we do not want to allow players to fake the visual appearance of unprotected players while they are clearly protected enough for battle - this would disrupt the game immersion.
While we're here...
We'd like to thank some of our favorite media outlets for stopping by last week at GDC, including MPOGD.com, The MMO Gamer, MMORPG.com, Massively.com, Stratics, Eurogamer.com, and Wired's Game/Life blog. Please keep an eye out on these sites for GDC coverage, interviews, and some exciting screenshots which should be released by them soon (probably this week)!
Our media visitors were able to enjoy a bit of time with Atanas Atanasov and also see the combat system. They also spent some time talking about all sorts of things like crafting, skills, and combat. Additionally, a couple of our media friends recorded a little bit of footage for use in GDC coverage and podcasting. As we don't control those sites, we don't know the exact date they'll appear, but as soon as we know, you'll see it in the announcement section.
In the meantime, please enjoy the official, Masthead created GDC trailer, as presented by Massively for all of you.
In future QOTWs, we are looking forward to going a bit in depth and answering some of the questions you've already brought up!
In the meantime, feel free to discuss - what to you think about hiding your helmet? Is this something you will take advantage of?
See you next week!
